February means 2 things…. Pancake Tuesday and Valentines Day, today I’m going to share a flirty, playful makeup look that you could wear for your valentines date or girls night out.

I’m going to start by using my trusty Laura Mercier creme smooth foundation(£41.50), and then apply Tarte’s Amazonian Clay Blush in True Love(£25)  on the cheeks for a little flush of colour. Then to finish off the base I’m cheeks i’m going to add a little highlight with the Charlotte Tilbury Bronze and Glow palette..(£49)

This year I’ve decided to go for a red eyeshadow look, to match the beautiful roses than many lucky girls will be receiving. I’m going to prime my eyes with the M.A.C Paint Pot in Painterly(£16) as always…
The shadow I’m going to use is Cranberry from M.A.C.(£10) I’ve recently bought this, it’s such a lovely colour. I’m going to blush it over the lids neatly… I’m not going to use any other colour as I want it to be bright but simple… I’m taking the longer end of my Tom Ford Eye Defining Eyeliner(£43) to make a very precise 60’s cat-flick. Before applying Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara(£19) I’m going to add a little of the cranberry to my waterline, just lightly.

For lips I’ve decided to use MACs Whirl lipstick(£15.50), I’ve had this lipstick for quite some time now but I think it’s the first time I’ve used it on PennyxxLane… I really love it, it’s an excellent brown colour that works for day time and night time occasions.

There we go a nice cranberry eyed makeup look!

Regardless of your status, this February 14th make sure you let someone you love know it, may it be a sister, niece, father, mother, brother or friend. It’s a day for love and it really doesn’t matter who with.

Thanks for reading
