Urban Decay Naked Foundation | Final Thoughts

4 (4)

For the last 5 months, I’ve been using the Urban Decay Naked Foundation, back in October I gave my initial thoughts and now that I’m finished I thought I’d give you my final thoughts on the foundation to see if my opinion has changed any.

As I said in my Original post, this foundation is suitable for all skin types, being someone who suffers from dry skin I was hesitant, however, I’ve not had many issues, there have been a couple of times when my skin is very dry that it’s stuck a little bit but not so bad that I want to remove it… to be honest, I think I’d be the only person who actually noticed it.  Most days it applied really well and it’s so easy to use, it’s such a natural looking foundation and as I was colour matched perfectly. Your base is so important, I feel like it’s vital to feel confident in the foundation you use.
I never had any problems with regards to break out, the formula feels very light and gentle.

If you like a very natural looking finish, this really does the trick, covering up pesky spots and blemishes, it is a medium to buildable coverage so for days you really don’t need much coverage it’s perfect.

For most of the time I used a foundation brush to apply and it a very nice finish but when I rebought the Real Techniques beauty sponge and the finish was even better! It went from a beautiful natural finish to flawless finish! I would definitely recommend using a sponge to apply to get even better results!

It has a 6-month life, I used this bottle for around 5 months – I’m one of those people who would carry on using the foundation even if had technically expired so it was nice that It lasted me roughly the length of time of the expiration date, I feel like I got full use of it – And I did, I was literally scraping the barrel… or bottle!

When I bought this foundation almost 6 months ago it was priced at £27, it is now £28.50

100% I would, buying a new foundation is always sooo daunting but it’s good to know which ones you can trust and work well for you… so although I won’t be re-purchasing straight away (I’m a beauty blogger, so I’m going to explore more foundation to share with you all) I know if all else fails that this is a good un’ and if I wasn’t running this blog I would more than likely re-purchase.

If you are looking for a foundation that looks like you aren’t wearing anything then this is perfect, I mean the clue is in the name isn’t it? Naked… But it really does give that finish. If you’re looking for a heavy full coverage then you should probably look for something else as although this is buildable you’ll be better off getting a full coverage foundation.  Are you looking for a day foundation which is light and weightless and natural? Yes! If you’re looking for a vegan-friendly foundation then you’ll also be thrilled to know that the Naked Foundation is Vegan-friendly! woo!
