Back in November, I blogged about some new beauty bits that I had acquired and I mentioned the new trals vs neutrals palette from Makeup Revolution and it came to my attention that I’ve not done a proper post on it and seeing as its one of my favourites I couldn’t miss it out any longer.
I’m a big fan of makeup revolutions eyeshadow palettes, they are impressively pigmentated and the low price is something to be admired. Today I thought I’d show you 3 different looks that I created using the palette…. I’m very minimalistic when it comes to eyeshadows so please excuse the amateur work!
The first look is something a little bit out there for me, I’m not one to wear dark eyeshadow nowadays!
I used the second last colour on the bottom row which is a bronzy taupe colour with a very slight glitter in it all over the eyelid I then applied the very last shade in the palette which is a brown purple with pinky glitters in the crease and then blended them together! I also took that last colour in my waterline for a more dramatic grungier look! The dark eye-shadows apply very nicely and there is little fall out too.
I decided to go all out and go for Rimmel’s 107 on my lips .
One of my favourite eyeshadow combinations in the New-trals vs Neutrals palette is what I like to call the ‘Salmon Pink’ look. I apply a baby pink colour which has undertones of silver all over the lid and then I take pinky orange (salmon shade I’ve named it) in the crease and blended them together to create almost a ombre effect but not really an ombre because I’m rubbish, just like Look one I took the pinky orange shade round into my waterline not so much that it looks like I’ve got pink eye but just to give it a bit of colour. I like wearing a cat flick and I use the fool proof Supercat eyeliner from soap and glory!
I’ve used faux from M.A.C a nice pink nude on my lips
The third and final look is another of my go-to looks very similar the look I showed you back in September .
I often apply any one of the red eyeshadows from this palette, they’re all great reds. I simply apply it all over the lid and I go for my signature cat flick again using the Supercat liner! My most worn lipstick is used in this look. M.A.Cs Whirl.
