A year or so ago I first spied Tom Fords Eye Defining Pen(£43) which I instantly wanted until I seen the price… and told myself that I really didn’t need such an expensive piece. Fast forward a year and it was at the top of my Christmas list and was thrilled to find it under my Christmas tree this year.
The eyeliner comes with two sides, which I guess you can look at it as being two liners in one which can make the price tag a little easier to stomach but this is Tom Ford it’s as luxurious and luxurious can get. One side has your standard eyeliner pen nib, and the other side is shorter and thinner.
The first thing I noticed when applying was how evenly and smoothly it glided on. No rough edges.
Both sides are so neat that it makes making a wing very easy, and due to its petiteness, I find it easier to do different shapes of wings.
I use the longer nib to make my wing and carry it on to my tight line, I then go over it with the shorter end to make sure there is no gaps or spaces between the line and my eyelash line. (no idea if I’m using the right words for the part of the eyes!)
I’ve been using it for over a month now and I am still so obsessed, I’ve never used an eyeliner which lasts and stays in place for so long! I’m having one of those thankful moments where I’m so glad I gave in and tried it because I really think it is worth the money and I know when the sad times comes and it runs out I’ll be quick to replace it.
What can I say, I’m sold, this may be the most expensive eyeliner I have, and I could buy about 7 Supercat eyeliners but you know it really is the best.
