Odylique is a brand that is perfect for those who have sensitive skin I really enjoy trying out different products from them as they always deliver excellent results.
The Soft Skin Cleanser* is the latest product for me to try, my evening cleanse is one of my favourite times of the day. I enjoy taking off my makeup and giving myself a little facial massage. I love using products that not only remove my makeup well but also leaves my skin feeling fresh.
The Soft Skin Cleanser activates with water to create a lovely milky consistency and has a very soothing scent which I believe is lavender which explains why it has a very calming effect on me which is what I love when winding down for the day.
What is in it you ask? It’s so important to know what is in the products you use on your face and Odylique is a brand that has your back with regards to this, I always know that the ingredients are going to be beneficial and kind. It includes Vitamin E/ Omega 6- rich cold – pressed sunflower oil which is great at reviving cells which will help with ageing something we all want to postpone it also helps to protect you from things like sun damage! Castor Bean Oil has a bit of a history as it includes a very toxic ingredient which is removed so that we can use the beans for all their benefits which include moisturising your skin, helps reduce redness and blemishes and is also said to work well with acne. I would recommend googling the oil because it does have a pretty interesting history. Like I first suspected (aka could smell) it also includes lavender which helps rejuvenate the complexion of the skin whilst also slowing the down the ageing process with its presence of antioxidants.
It removes my makeup including eye make up very effectively whilst leaving my skin feeling clean, soft and supple. It helps maintain clear and blemishless skin and I’ve noticed that redness has reduced significantly and due to the sensitiveness of the brand I haven’t had any breakouts or skin irritations.
The Silk Touch cleanser is also suitable for vegans with it being 100% natural and 98% organic (it has been certified Organic by the Soil Association).
As a whole, I recommend Odylique as a brand but if you’re in the market for a new cleanser and you’re the fan of the Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser I would highly recommend this to be added to your skin routine. It’s a goodie.
