After finally biting the bullet and making a Kylie Jenner Liquid Lipsticks order and being so happy with the quality (You can read the review here) I was excited to explore more!
The Burgundy palette($42) is one of 3 of the permanent eyeshadow palettes, it includes 9 shadows with coppers, bronzes and of course burgundies.
They swatch amazingly and are very pigmentated and the shadows really compliment each other if you want to do a cut and crease or if you’re more like me just like using one shadow all over the lid. There are quite a few “headlining” shades (as I call them) to create all different looks from glam to casual and shades for the crease or to create a natural look.
The packaging is quite basic but I like it, there is no mirror so it make’s it very sleek and there is a simple eye dripping design which I think is pretty cool. Despite its daintiness, it does feel like very nice quality and hardwearing.
I’m really impressed. The shadows are so easy to work with and all the colours are so wearable!
This time around I have a Lip kit to try. Mary Jo K is Hollywood red colour, it’s show stopping and stunning. Like the other Liquid Lipsticks from the range that I own, it applies very easily and super opaque, It also dries very quickly. I do think this shade is a little drier than the other 2 but not uncomfortably dry (for someone who is used to wearing liquid lipsticks anyways). I’m not a huge red lip wearer but this colour is beautiful.
The Lip Liner is incredibly creamy and compliments the lipstick so well, it doesn’t drag at all so it’s very easy to draw and create a lovely natural shape!
Once again, I’m super impressed with the products! Of course, I was hit with a customs charge which was just under £19 which is a pain but I’m so happy with products that I find it hard to grudge it for too long.
