Well Hey There! L’Oreal’s “Miss” mascara line has become a bit of a favourite of mine, I love Miss Punky and Miss Hippie and I was overly excited to see their latest mascara Miss Baby Roll not just because I’ve been such a fan of the previous two but also because the packaging pleases me so much – yep I am that person. The Pastel packaging lured me in so 5 stars for that.
I think it’s fairly obvious that Miss Baby Roll could be L’Oreals take on Benefits RollerLash Mascara? Which kinda made me roll my eyes but I’m such a fan of this line of mascaras I’m not too bothered about it. I was half expecting the same style of brush as the Benefit predecessor but I was happy to see they hadn’t mimicked that and the brush is very neat and thin but doesn’t have the same curve to it.
My lashes are lifted as if they’re wearing their very own mascara Wonderbra – is there anything more satisfying than watching your lashes raise higher than the clouds? They separate my lashes also, which I think looks much better than being all clumped together, my lashes have a tendency of doing that naturally so I love that doesn’t add to it. They do give that that spidery lashes look but not in a severe way – this is what differentiates between Miss Hippie which gives you lift and volume but with much more product to give the look of fuller lashes. Your lashes are definitely separated with Baby Roll whereas Miss Punky sticks to the more volumised side of things without giving your lashes a real lift and curl.
Miss Baby Roll is buildable, you can really tailor how much enhancement you want, for a very natural lift one coat is perfect, a few extra you can really elevate the lashes but without making them appear clumpy or overdone with product.
The line also includes a waterproof black plus three pastel colours which I’m really excited to try too!
