When it comes to mascara I’m very loyal to my YSL Babydoll Mascara (read review here) but I decided to dip my toes into something different. Charlotte Tilbury’s Legendary Lashes(£25)was a bit of an impulse buy, I had never looked into it so I was going in completely blind but I’m a fan of CT as a brand – so was curious to see how this stands.
They certainly make an impression and very different from my Babydoll mascara that I’m so in love with… This packs a punch and gives your lashes instant volume, they give a full-on glamour look. They can make your lashes a little spidery too, so if you like a thick lash look, you will really like this… Almost fake lashes like.
I do find that it can sometimes be tricky to apply to the lower lashes but I may just be too harsh handed…
It can be a little tricky to remove! Even after taking all my makeup off plus using some micellar water to double check, in the morning I can wake up with a little bit of it still on my lashes! So you do need to spend a little longer removing it (compared to other mascaras that I use).
Personally, I think it’s a mascara more for a made up look than a natural “wear it to work” kinda lashes.
