It came to that time of year where my feet live in boots… and as much as I love boots I find shopping for them most difficult… The last pair I bought at the beginning of the year were really nice but they were a bit big as I bought them from Missguided so didn’t have a chance to try them on first so I found them quite uncomfortable to wear…
So as Autumn approached I knew I would have to start the boot shopping but I was not looking forward to it… I hadn’t actually even started looking when I came across these Triple Chealsea leather ankle boots from Keds (£89)on the Look Again website… The only closest size available was a 3.5…. It was risky because I’m between a 3-4 usually boots in a 3 are bit too tight and 4 too big… I have Keds in the cotton slip on which are a 4 and fit perfectly… but I took the risk and hoped they would fit perfectly! And they do! I wish every shop done half sizes.
Anyways on to the boots, the upper part of the boot is made from leather while the sole is rubber…. It’s quite a thick sole which gives a little bit of height but also good for the bad weather and puddles etc… The little detail on the boots is a nice little extra to make them more girly….
Now on to comfort… I have a pair of original Keds which are the comfiest shoe I own…. They have sort of a cushioned sole, making walking about a breeze… The boots too have that same cushiony sole and I feel like the thick sole of the shoe make’s it even comfier… I don’t think I’ve ever owned shoes as comfy as Keds! They’re a real dark horse!
They are a little bit more pricey that I usually spend but they really are worth it… Your feet deserve warmth and comfort, especially during the gloomy autumn and winter days…
Now on to the quest for finding a winter coat!
