Today I wanted to share a few of my current favourite mascara from the high street that are super affordable
and are serious competition for more luxury brands.
I also realised when photographing the products that they’re both from 2 brands.
Maybelline is well known to be the go-to brand for Mascaras in the high steet world. The Great Lash mascara from Maybelline I have spoke a lot about this mascara over the years on this blog but that just shows how much I love it. It has a small brush which makes it great for lower lashes. Great lash is perfect for thickening your lashes and lengthens them ever so subtly. It also has a waterproof version if that is something you’re looking for.
Another from Maybelline is one that I have discovered more recently; the Push Up Drama as the name suggests is a mascara for those looking for more of a impact to the lashes – I really liked the way it seprates my lashes and gives them a lovely curl. The brush has stumps (described as cup-shaped) rather than bristles that which I think is what helps really separates the lashes.
Paradise Extatic is a fairly recent release L’Oreal and it has been popular amongst the beauty community and I have to agree it is a lovely mascara, it really lengthens the lashes so perfect for those
blessed with short stubby lashes it also gives them a natural curl and amazingly it does this all whilst looking very natural which I love. It’s such a perfect day to day mascara that could be transitioned for evening occasions too!
One of my favourite Mascaras of the moment is L’Oreals Miss Baby Roll (you read my full review here) as I said in the review you get amazing lift and it is buildable so you can choose if you would rather a more natural look or if you want a more fuller lashes you can apply more layers without any flaking or super clumpy and they’re super high. It also has a black waterproof version and then it comes in 3 other colours, Purple, Blue and indigo.
What are your favourite high street Mascaras?
