Beauty Faves Of The Moment

I’ve had a hectic month and trying to keep up with myself has been hard so I’ve found that my makeup has been super simple just so I can cut down on time – In doing that I’ve rediscovered a few bits of makeup that I’m now full on loving…
The Charlotte Tilbury Bronze and Glow I have in my makeup bag constantly as I really like the mirror, I’m now contouring daily so this compact is getting full use nowadays rather than just being the very pretty and expensive mirror that I was using it for… It isn’t so pigmentated that it can be hard for a novice to use and it also warms the skin really well to help give you some colour.
A mascara that I keep rebuying and going back to is Maybelline’s Great Lash… I really love the petite brush. Perfect for everyday lashes this mascara lifts and give your lashes volume whilst still looking natural and as the brush is small it’s great for applying to the lower lashes too.
I found myself finishing Kat Von D’s Tattoo Liner (review here) which I have thoroughly enjoyed using. I found myself using MACS liquid liner, after using pen liner pretty much non-stop for the past 6 months I thought I was going to immediately regret moving on to MAC but the transition was easy and found it just as manageable, it applies so opaque with one layer. It doesn’t quite stay in place like Kats Tattoo Liner (I’ve been cursed with the oiliest eyelids ever).  It’s been a great change, though.

The newest of the bunch is from Lottie London if you saw my first impressions of the brand you will have seen I had an instant love for this little brow compact, it’s such a handy little set for someone who is very no-nonsense about their brows. It has 2 powders and one gel… in all honestly I only use the middle square, I have no issues with the product running, it stays in place. The brush and spoolie duo is so handy for on the go and there is even a tweezer too, which I don’t use for my brows but they’re so handy to have in general.

I don’t think I’ve had a month where I’ve been so simple with my lip product, to go with my minimal look I’ve been throwing on the super simple Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfectorit helps give my lips moisture and looking plumped and healthy without wearing a heavy colour. And although I know I’ll soon be back to my matte liquid lip this will always be at hands reach for those more simple and short on time days.
