6 Fun Summer Lip Colours!

I have had my moments of bold lip phases but deep down I am a nude lip girl. However, I find that during Summer I’m kinda obliged to dust off the fun brighter lipstick in my collection.
My main faves are a variety of reds and pinks, here is my roundup! (2)

Showy Flamboyant(£7.99) is from  Revlon’s matte balm range… which I am so obsessed with! I am a major fan of this range this shade is probably my most worn from it. It’s such a wearable pink but with a hint of vibrancy to help make your makeup pop!
The matte balms are a creamy matte consistency so super easy to wear.

Bang by Urban Decay(£15.50)  is one of the most perfect reds for Summer, with a hint of orange that really screams summer and will compliment golden tanned skin! But also looks great with a pale complexion like myself!

Another from the Revlon Matte Balms is Audacious(£7.99) which is a bit of a daring orange but I actually really like it! It’s a nice alternative to a red and such a great colour for sunny days. So obsessed!  I think it compliments blue eyes so well! It’s a bit adventurous but it’s definitely one to try.

I have raved about the Bourjois Velvet lipsticks for quite some time now, they have some great pinks in their collection including Frambourjoise(£8.99), which is an intense pink which has a hint of red to it! It’s definitely one of my more daring shades that I feel 100% comfortable in! Another from the range is So Hap’pink(£8.99) a real pretty pink shade which is way more subtle than the other lip shades I’ve chosen but it’s one for the summer but with a way more everyday, suitable for work and daytime occasion!
If you’re looking for a getup and go summer shade this one is for you.

Makeup Revolutions Not In Love(£2.49) is a hot pink with a hint of orange in it, the pigmentation of this lipstick isn’t as strong as the other shades, but I think that works well if you don’t want a showy bold lip! This would be perfect if you were feeling a little more reserved.

What are your go to shades for Summer?
