I recently went on bit of a make-up party and bought some products that i’ve been wanting for a while…. and well couldn’t stop.
Charlotte Tilbury is a brand that I really want to try more of and Bronze and Glow (£49) looks so dreamy that I couldn’t resist picking it up. I’m not huge on contouring, I do it now and again but I thought this little duo would be perfect for making night time make-up even more flawless. The handy mirror is great for o the go too.
I have blabed on and on about my dry skin many times and it’s now getting better (due to my new skin care routine…. post coming soon) but if ever do have a day where I forget and my skin isn’t too great I found the Laura Mercier creme smooth foundation (£41.50)still works well with it. The creme smooth is the most hydrating foundation in LM range. This stuff leaves such a natural finish it’s incredible. And even though I still love my nars sheer glow, the cream smooth works better with my type of skin.
I have been without a concealer for some time now but finally picked up the Urban Decay weightless complete coverage concealer (£17.50), it’s having quite a moment currently. It does the job and thats all I need it to do.
I was needing some new eyebrow products and decided to pick up the L’oreal brow artist shaper (£5.49). It comes with a pencil at one end and wax at the other end along with a wee spoolie on the lid. I picked up the shade blonde because the brunette and very brunette ( which I am) was seriously too dark, so something to think about if you’re thinking of picking it up. I’m not too snobby when it comes to my brows, I like something to fill in any spaces and darken my eyebrowns a little as they seem to be getting a little lighter.
Lastly I added some beautiful make-up brushes to my collection. The zoeva rose golden brushes (£56.95) , they’re beautiful. (you can see a full post here). I’ve been needing new brushes and i’m so happy with them.
