Bourjois Velvet Lipsticks

Personnene rouge

I am a bit of a matte lipstick fan girl and was very excited about the velvet lipsticks that Bourjois were releasing. My lovely boyfriend bought me 01 Personne ne rouge (I have no idea how that is pronounced) as a present which is a deep red colour what I really liked about this shade was that it was classic red, that some may find a little to intimidating to wear, however once on it is so striking yet subtle at the same time so you don’t feel like it’s too much.

Peach Club

The next shade I purchased was
Peach Club, which is a funny pinky, orangey, browny colour, in the bottle it doesn’t really stand out but on is beautiful and is perfect for a everyday splash of colour that would fit in with your day to day make-up look. It’s more of a nudey coral from the range.

Pink Pong

Pink Pong was the next shade I gave in and bought and it is a very different colour for me to wear. It is a hot pink, it doesn’t get anymore summer  than this shade, it’s so girly and bright but so beautiful and easy to wear…It’s stands out so much so if you like bold lipstick this is the one for you.

Frambourjoise

Frambourjoise is a funny red colour with a hint of pink, again this is a bold colour but yet so easy to wear once on so if you aren’t quite a bright red girl i’d give this a try.

What I really love about these lipsticks is that they sink into your lips rather than sit on them, so if you are a bit nervous about wearing bright and bold lips you may find yourself comfortable with these because they are so easy to wear. I definitely recommend popping into boots or superdrug to check the range out as they are perfect for summer!Remember to use your favourite lip balm in-between using them as they can get a little drying and matte lips are not a good look with dry chapped lips.
