Fun at the Pleasure Beach

image

Ever since I was little going to Blackpool’s Pleasure Beach during the September weekend was always a must…  It’s something that I still love doing and couldn’t wait to ride some of the best roller-coasters i’ve ever ridden.
My Dad hired a 9 seat transporter mini van for the 7 of us going which included my mum, dad, big brother, little sister, my little cousin and my boyfriend…
The trip to Blackpool from where I live isn’t to treacherous is a 3 hour drive or so. The weather was bright and we super excited for our annual trip.
Here are some photographs from the day….

The older I get the more wary I am about going on roller-coasters, every-time I queued up the thoughts “i’m definitely going to die this time”  popped into my head, but I still do it. The Avalanche (photoed below) is my favourite and has been for years, it’s a bob slay ride and I don’t want to think about the how there’s no track on it…

The Big One (Pepsi Max) absolutely terrifies me but it’s one of the most enjoyable rides bar the the huge climb to the top unlike the Grand National which I feel like i’m gonna hit my head on wood and i’m actually going to fall out, it is one of the oldest rides in the park and also wooden… I always say I’ll never go back on it but I always do.

I always get to the point where my body has had enough and I’m ready to throw up but while others took the chance to ride as many rollercoasters one last time I went round taking photos of the park at dusk which I have to say is the my favourite time of the day, the colours of the sky was the perfect background to all the happy screams and the tall and twirly rides.

After we leave the park we go to our favourite blackpool based chippy for some food before having a walk along the front looking at the illuminations and buying some of the traditional blackpool Rock…
